Anyone who has built something real on Ignition knows where to go when they get stuck: the Inductive Automation Forum. It's where people troubleshoot, compare architectures, and trade ideas with others building real applications.
Our users are Ignition users too, so we wanted to bring that same spirit of practical collaboration to Kanoa MES.
Today, we're launching the Kanoa Forum: a dedicated space for the people implementing, extending, and using Kanoa MES to ask questions, share knowledge, and learn from one another.
Built for Everyone Working With Kanoa
The Kanoa Forum is open to our whole community: systems integrators, end users, technology partners, and anyone working with Kanoa.
That mix is the point. An integrator deep in a configuration question, a plant engineer trying to get more from a Solution already in production, and a technology partner who knows the equipment on the other side of the integration all see different parts of the same problem. Putting them in one place gives everyone a better chance of finding someone who has already been there.
What the Forum Is For
We're building the forum around four uses:
- Questions and troubleshooting: Get help with configuration, implementation challenges, and everyday use.
- Shared solutions and projects: Exchange tips, examples, lessons learned, and ideas others can apply.
- Feature requests and feedback: Share needs, suggest improvements, and discuss how Kanoa can better support real manufacturing environments.
- Community connections: Meet others working through similar challenges and contribute experience that helps them move forward.
Why It Matters
Kanoa MES is built to be configured first and extended through Ignition where a plant needs something specific. That flexibility is a strength, and it also means no two implementations look exactly alike. The way one team approached a problem often gives the next team a useful starting point.
That is the long-term value of a forum: a growing, searchable collection of practical Kanoa knowledge. A question answered today can help the next person facing the same issue. A useful approach from one implementation can save another team time.
Those conversations also give Kanoa a clearer view of what people need and how they're using the software. We want to hear it directly from the people doing the work.
How the Forum Fits With Documentation and Support
The forum is a community space. It sits alongside, not in place of, the product documentation at docs.kanoa.ai and the existing support process. If you have a support issue, keep using the Kanoa support portal. If you want to compare notes, ask how others handle a scenario, or share something that worked, the forum is the place to do it.
Help Us Get It Started
The forum is just getting started, and participation will shape what it becomes. If you work with Kanoa MES, here's how to help:
- Introduce yourself and tell us what you're working on
- Ask your first question
- Share something you've learned along the way
Visit the Kanoa Forum and join the conversation.
