Kanoa Maintenance Design Partners
Join a limited group of manufacturers working directly with Kanoa to design and validate a new Ignition-native CMMS solution for Kanoa MES.
What This Is
Kanoa is actively developing a new Manufacturing Maintenance solution built entirely within the Ignition and Kanoa MES environments.
Rather than building in isolation, we’re collaborating with a small group of manufacturers to ensure the product reflects real maintenance workflows in production environments.
The Design Partner Program is an opportunity to work closely with our team, gain early access to the solution, and help shape how it evolves.
Who This Is For
This program is best suited for organizations that:
- Are currently using Ignition (or planning to)
- Have an active need for CMMS capabilities
- Want a solution that integrates directly with plant operations
- Are comfortable working with software that is still evolving
- Value flexibility, extensibility, and long-term ownership of their systems
What You’ll Get
As a design partner, your team will:
- Access early builds of the CMMS solution as it evolves
- Participate in design discussions around workflows, data models, and usability
- Provide direct feedback that influences feature direction and prioritization
- Work closely with the Kanoa team during development
- Promotional pricing on the future release of this solution
This is a collaborative engagement focused on building a solution that works in real manufacturing environments—not just in theory.
What You Should Expect
This is not a finished product.
Design partners should expect:
- Incremental releases as functionality is developed
- Some features to be incomplete or evolving
- A need for ongoing feedback and iteration
- A collaborative, working relationship with the Kanoa team
Our goal is to move quickly, learn from real use, and refine the solution ahead of beta.
This is a paid program and there is a fee (and incentives!) for joining the Design Partner program.
Current Scope
The current development scope includes:
- Asset and equipment management
- Maintenance work order lifecycle
- Technician labor and activity tracking
- Parts usage and inventory visibility
- Mobile-friendly workflows
- Maintenance reporting and metrics (including MTTR)
This scope will continue to evolve based on feedback from design partners.
Why This Matters
Because this solution is built entirely within Ignition:
- You avoid introducing another standalone system
- You retain full flexibility to extend and customize
- You can integrate directly with your existing architecture (ERP, notifications, etc.)
- You align maintenance with the same platform used for operations
