Kanoa MES Requirements
To implement Kanoa MES you need to install ALL of the following. Check our Getting Started documentation for more info.
🔽Kanoa MES - Version 1.10
Installs Kanoa Core, Ops, Trace, and Quality solutions (activated by license); including the Kanoa MES modules, Kanoa projects, and the Kanoa Core database.
🔽Apex Charts
An Ignition module that adds support for ApexCharts charting library as a Perspective component. These charts are used throughout the Kanoa MES application. This module is maintained and distributed free-of-charge by Kyvis-Labs. Learn more.
🔽BIJC Calendar Component
An implementation of fullcalendar.io version 5 as a perspective component. This module is maintained and distributed by BIJC. A license is included with any Kanoa Ops purchase. Learn more.
Other Software
🔗Inductive Automation's Ignition
Kanoa MES is built on and for Inductive Automation's Ignition. Ignition is required to run Kanoa MES.
🔗Microsoft SQL Server
Kanoa MES requires a Microsoft SQL database (2018 or later) for data storage.

Release Candidate Information
This download is a Release Candidate (RC) build of Kanoa MES. Release Candidates are experimental versions that have successfully passed internal QA, but may not yet be fully validated in real-world production environments.
For that reason, we generally recommend not deploying RC builds into production. If you encounter issues or unexpected behavior, we may advise reverting to the latest stable release until fixes are available.
That said, we’re making this RC available to gather early feedback from integrators and end customers—so we can identify edge cases, improve stability, and accelerate readiness for general release.
This RC is especially significant because it is the first Kanoa MES build compatible with the latest Ignition 8.3. We’re excited to share it with early adopters and appreciate your help testing it in the field.
