Kanoa at ICC 2026

Written by Sam Russem | Sep 14, 2026, 2:11:10 PM

Walk the show floor at ICC 2026 next week and you'll find dozens of companies, each with a piece of the answer to smarter manufacturing — all of them there because Inductive Automation built a platform, and a conference, worth showing up for. We're proud to be a Silver Sponsor this year, and we've got a full week planned: two sessions, a live demo, a spot at Booth #38 where you can find us all three days, and a couple of other surprises!

Here's what we're bringing.

Two sessions, back to back on Wednesday

At 11:30 AM in the Gateway Theater, Sam Russem, Jason Coope, and Aaron Rai are running our Solution Showcase, "What's New and What's Next: The Future of Kanoa MES for Ignition." It's a look at what's changed across Kanoa MES, a closer look at Kanoa Maintenance (our newest solution), and where the platform is headed next.

Two hours later, at 1:30 PM in the Edge Theater, our co-founders Jason and Nicole Coope are giving a breakout talk: "Your MES Isn't Failing — Your Change Strategy Is." Drawing on 10 real-world case studies and the Lean DMAIC framework, they're digging into why digital transformation projects actually stall — usually change management, not technology — and how to manage the people side of an MES rollout well enough to get the results you're after.

Different rooms, same afternoon — easy to catch both.

A live "Better Together" demo at Booth #38

None of what we do runs in isolation, and we wanted to show that instead of just saying it. All week at Booth #38, we're running a live demo built on Ignition alongside several partners across its ecosystem — Opto 22, Cirrus Link, and 4IR Solutions, with Flow Software joining in as an active, in-progress relationship — pulling in real and simulated plant data and putting it to work inside Kanoa MES.

No single piece of software here is "the one thing" a factory needs, Kanoa MES included. Real solutions come from technology, people, and process working together, and none of it works without Ignition underneath — Inductive Automation built an open platform that gets more valuable every time it talks to another system, and everything in this demo exists because of that openness. We're not going to spoil the full picture here; the whole point is that it's worth walking up and seeing live.

Come find us

We're at Booth #38, second floor, all three days of Inductive Automation's ICC 2026 — September 22–24 in Sacramento. Stop by for the demo, catch us at either session Wednesday, or just come say hi.

See you there.
